Bison Coolers ranks no. 19 on the 2017 Aggie 100, with growth rate of 60%

Bison Coolers has been named to the Aggie 100, which identifies and celebrates the fastest-growing Aggie-owned businesses in the world. Bison takes the 19th spot thanks to its 60.044% average annual growth rate since 2014.

A 2006 Texas A&M alumnus, president and co-owner Jeremy Denson attributes Bison’s growing success to its dedication to the production of quality, American-made coolers. Denson says the company now has its sights set on expanding the Bison brand nationwide.

“Our next big step will be nationwide expansion,” said Denson. “Not only are our products top-quality, we also provide customers the ability to customize almost everything we make. Our goal is to remain innovative with our products as we continue to grow and serve more customers across the country.”

The Aggie 100 was founded in 2005 by Texas A&M’s Mays Business School McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship. Criteria for placement on the list not only includes successful entrepreneurship, the company must also “operate in a manner consistent with the Aggie Code of Honor and in keeping with the values and image of Texas A&M University,” according to the organization.
