Barry Hoehne
My name is Barry Hoehne, and my friends call me UB (Uncle Barry). I am an Illinois native that grew up fishing the tributaries of the Mississippi river, the Great Lakes and many small ponds around my hometown of Bolingbrook. I currently reside in central Oklahoma and plan on remaining here after my military career comes to an end. Since joining the United States Air Force almost 22 years ago I’ve been blessed to have the opportunity to fish all over the world; my personal record was fishing 8 countries in just 2 months!
When my fishing schedule allows, I also love to hunt whitetail deer, dove and waterfowl with my son. My fondest hunting memory is being lucky enough to stick a Florida alligator and have my son on board to experience the hunt…… and that was on a day that started as a fishing trip!
Currently, I fish one tournament trail with my beautiful wife and do my best not to get out-fished by her! I also fish the ABA (American Bass Anglers) RAM Truck Open series, which began as a military fishing tournament trail and provides me the opportunity to meet great people all over Oklahoma and Texas. I have represented several outdoor companies for the last couple years and am continuing to grow my knowledge of advertising and using fishing tournaments as a platform to advertise for companies I believe in! I am extremely excited to be a member of Bison Coolers Pro Staff!
