Mike Wilson

I am a 33 year old Army Veteran that grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of Southern West Virginia. I did not grow up hunting and fishing but I participating in off-roading, four-wheeling, and camping.  Being outdoors is my passion and I took up hunting and fishing as a result of that.

I started the Mountaineer Outdoorsmen 3 years ago in hopes of sharing my love for the outdoors with others. We do so through social media, Youtube, Vimeo, a website, and attending different Expos in our home state.  When I was attending shows, I saw a need for new products so I started my own business called The Outdoorsman's Shop.  Bison was the first company to give my team a chance to represent them and now I have been honored to become one of the few they call Pro Staff.  Titles are not what I strive for but to be recognized for the work I do is gratifying, to say the least. It has made me feel like I have sealed my fate as being a part of the Bison Family. I am a ‘what you see is what you get’ kind of guy. I was raised to trust a person by their word and a handshake although this world has went away from it. I was thrilled to find a company that honors their world and has American products that I can fully stand behind!
